Abstract
The growth of PCS systems demands better resource management algorithms. Re duction of the cell size has been a common point that many solutions propos e. As a result of cell reduction, the importance of finer mobility descript ions increases, such that it is necessary to look for improved analytical t ools to model mobility. In this paper, a mobility model based on Fractional Brownian Motion (FBM) is presented. The proposed model represents a wide v ariety or mobility scenarios, removing the unrealistic constraints of previ ous models. The suitability and flexibility of the proposed methodology is discussed through the analysis of different scenarios.
