Abstract
Poland's light manufacturing encompasses the following industries: textile industry, clothes manufacturing, and leather-footwear industry. For all of them basic economical indicators for 1998 are given, e.g. number of establi shments, employment structure, exports and imports, economic-financial perf ormance. Opportunities for Polish light manufacturing are presented.
