Synchronous ipsilateral renal tumors are rare. To our knowledge we report t
he first case of synchronous ipsilateral renal cell carcinoma, transitional
cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis and renal lymphoma. Although the collis
ion of these tumors has been suggested by some to be more than coincidental
, there is no conclusive evidence that patients with renal cell carcinoma a
re at higher risk for any of the aforementioned malignancies.
