A 13 month old female labrador was presented with urinary incontinence. His
tory and clinical examination were suggestive for a lower urinary tract ano
maly. An excretory urogram demonstrated an ureterocele associated with an e
ctopic ureter and hydronephrosis. The sonography confirmed the diagnosis. T
he surgical treatment consisted in incision of the ureterocele and an urete
rovesical anastomosis. Six weeks after the surgery the bitch was continent.
