Abstract
An empirical formula for calculating Taiwan's specific rain attenuation is presented in this paper. Numerical results obtained from the empirical form ula for calculating the specific rain attenuation are generally in good agr eement with measurement data. The average error in the specific rain attenu ation iis less than 10%. This empirical formula is very efficient for the c alculation of specific rain attenuation. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
