Abstract
Several innovative drilling rigs have been designed by Uralmash. They ore i n the focus of this report. New ET-type winch is documented and its advanta ges over traditional designs are shown. Opportunities achievable with modul ar block drilling rigs are highlighted. Technical specifications and design approach compatibility are shown for drilling equipment offered by key for eign manufacturers in comparison with Uralmash designs.
