Abstract
Dissociation and stability constants for protolytic and complex formation e quilibria of a polyfunctional ligand are determined. Deprotonation is monit ored by NMR controlled titrations. Macroscopic and microscopic concepts are discussed. Nickel complexes are more stable than those of Ca and Mg.
