Abstract
We have calculated the ratio between the charge and magnetic form factors o f the proton, making use of the hypercentral constituent quark model with r elativistic corrections. The parameters of the model have been fixed in ord er to reproduce the baryon spectrum. The predicted values of this ratio are compared with the recent experimental results.
