Abstract
To reveal the efficiency of additions intensifying the setting of alka line binders, the early stages of the hydration of slag-alkaline cemen ts were studied using thermokinetic analysis. Two types of the cements were taken: those based on alkali metal compounds creating an alkalin e reaction in an aqueous medium (hydroxides) and practically not givin g an alkaline reaction (sulfates).
