Abstract
Thermal emission of oxygen in the temperature range 50-1000 degrees C from the surface of a commercial ceramics based on cordierite Mg2Al4Si 5O18 is studied by gas chromatography. The possible role of excited (s inglet) oxygen as an origin of the observed specific features is discu ssed.
