Abstract
Gabapentin has been recently accepted as epilepsy treatment. The HIV relate d polineuropathy is a distal sesorimotor polyneuropathy, which in some seri es affected to 20-30% of HIV patients, especially to those deeply immunodep resed. We present a case of a distal sesorimotor polyneuropathy HIV related , treated satisfactorily with gabapentin.
