Abstract
We investigate theoretically electronic Raman scattering arising from the C uO2 planes in high-T-c superconductors and show that the Raman spectra are strongly sensitive to the light frequency. The role of the resonance near t he extended Van Hove singularity is discussed. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevi er Science Ltd.
