A case of bilateral sequential lung transplantation for anhidrotic ectoderm
al dysplasia is presented. The patient was a 16-year-old male with end-stag
e lung disease secondary to chronic severe respiratory infection. Although
a relatively rare disease, the common association of fatal pulmonary compro
mise in those affected with this disorder warrants consideration of lung tr
ansplantation as a viable therapeutic option. (C) 2000 by The Society of Th
