Abstract
Both high enantioselectivity (91%) and high regioselectivity (98.8%) are ac hieved under mild reaction conditions in the Rh-catalysed hydroformylation of vinyl arenes with a new chiral diphosphite ligand derived from the readi ly available D-(+)-glucose.
