Abstract
The EPR silent acetated 54-member crown-shaped polyoxomolybdate Na-26[{Na(H 2O)(2)}(6)({mu(3)-OH)(4)(Mo20Mo34VI)-Mo-V- O-164(mu(2)-CH3COO)(4)}].approxi mate to 120H(2)O (1), constructed from two different but related building b locks in a new mode, is synthesized in high yield by reducing an acidified aqueous solution of Na2MoO4. 2H(2)O and CH3COONa . 3H(2)O.
