Abstract
High-spin states of(119)Xe have been investigated by in-beam gamma-ray spec troscopy via the reaction of(16)O bombarding Cd-106 target at beam energies of 67-80 MeV. No enhanced E1 transition was observed, the non-existence of octupole correlations in Xe-119.
