Abstract
We have studied the optical transmission of one-dimensional Fibonacci-class quasiperiodic multilayers, which possess a mirror symmetry. We find that t he transmission coefficient is unity for all studied sequences at the centr al wavelength lambda = lambda(0), where lambda(0) = (1/4)n(A(B))d(A(B)) wit h n(A(B)) and d(A(B)) being the index of refraction and thickness of two ki nds of layers, respectively. Two-cycle or three-cycle has been found around lambda = lambda(0), which is different from the features of the sequences without symmetric structure.
