Abstract
Growth and survival of larval yellowleg shrimp, Farfantepenaeus californien sis, were evaluated at salinities of 30, 33, 36 and 38 ppt and temperature of 25.0 +/- 0.5 degrees C, in La Pat, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Na signi ficant differences in growth were observed among treatments. Survival was s imilar at salinities of 30, 33 and 36 ppt. A lower survival was observed at 38 ppt. No significant differences were observed in the time to reach larv al substages at different salinities.
