Abstract
Using data for Canadian daily newspapers we find that price changes of pape rs owned by the same firm are synchronized. On the other hand, independentl y owned newspapers do not appear to change their prices together. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved. JEL classification: D40; L16.
