Magnetic-field heating for in-line through hardening

Previously restricted to low-temperature applications, magnetic-field heati ng has recently been developed to enable through heating to steel hardening temperatures. It is seen as promising to meet the criteria for through-har dening in-line with other manufacturing operations in terms of compactness, energy consumption, cost-effectiveness, quality demands and environmental impact.
