I. Ivanov et al., Insoluble anodes used in hydrometallurgy Part II. Anodic behaviour of leadand lead-alloy anodes, HYDROMETALL, 57(2), 2000, pp. 125-139
This part of the review is devoted to the processes that take place upon th
e surface of Ph and Ph-alloy anodes used in hydrometallurgy. The conclusion
of many authors is that Ph-alloy anodes containing Ag or Co show the lowes
t potential of the oxygen evolution reaction and the highest corrosion resi
stance as compared with those of Pb-alloy anodes, which contain other alloy
ing additives. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
