Abstract
We propose a new cryogenic refrigerator which is a hybrid of the Brayton ma gnetic-cooling cycle and the Gifford-McMahon (GM) gas-cooling cycle. We eva luate the refrigeration power of the refrigerator with ErNi regenerator mat erial by a numerical simulation. The results show a remarkably high refrige ration power in contrast to the conventional simple GM gas-refrigerator.
