Fl. Hong et al., Modulation-free saturated dispersion spectroscopy of I-2 using a common-path two-colour interferometer with a Nd : YAG laser, JPN J A P 1, 39(4A), 2000, pp. 1918-1919
A common-path two-colour interferometer is proposed for the detection of su
b-Doppler saturated dispersion resonances of molecular iodine with no modul
ation on the laser beam. Hyperfine components of the R(56)32-0 line have be
en observed with a high signal-to-noise ratio by using a Nd:YAG laser. The
observed signals of the dispersion resonance, the background of which has a
small dependence on the optical geometry, will be used for laser frequency
stabilization.
