Abstract
A theoretical study of light transmission through a polymer with a monolaye r ensemble of bipolar nematic droplets under applied electric film is perfo rmed. The possibility of interference quenching of monochromatic coherent l ight directly transmitted through the film is predicted theoretically and r ealized in the experiment.
