Abstract
The results are reported on six patients who underwent a modified quadrangu lar osteotomy to avoid dysaesthesia of the infraorbital nerve. The suggeste d modification served its purpose well, while the functional and aesthetic results were excellent. (C) 2000 European Association for Cranio-Maxillofac ial Surgery.
