Abstract
During the survey of marine mycoflora of animal substrates of west coast of India, a new species of the genus Corollospora was encountered. Corollospo ra indica differs from other members of the genus in ascospore morphology. The large ascospores with bulged cells and unequal septation are the typica l characteristics. The new species is described and illustrated. The affini ties between most closely related species, Corollospora angusta and C. quin queseptata are discussed.
