Abstract
We prove that two kinds of coupled TM-TE focus wave modes can propagate in a biisotropic medium, and we consider what happens when a TM or TE focus wa ve mode impinges from a vacuum on a slab made of a biisotropic material. We get the amplitudes of the reflected and refracted waves in a chiral slab. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
