Abstract
Densities and viscosities of glucose and fructose solutions in water and in aqueous 0.5 mol dm(-3) NH4Cl have been measured at 29815, 303.15, 308.15 a nd 313.15 K. From density data, apparent molar volumes at infinite dilution (phi(del)(o)) and from viscosity data, do B-coefficients are calculated Gl ucose and fructose are found to be structure promoters in-water as well as in aqueous 0.5 mol dm(-3) NH4Cl solutions.
