Abstract
Complexes of salicylaldehyde-4,4-dimethyl-3-thiosemicarbazone (H-2 saldmtsc ) with bivalent metal ions of composition [M(saldmtsc). nH(2)O] (M = Ni-II, Cu-II, Zn-II, Cd-II or Hg-II and n = 0 or 1), [M(saldmtsc)py] (M = Ni-II, Cu-II or Zn-II) and [Ni(saldmtsc)B] (B = alpha-, beta- or gamma-picoline) h ave been prepared and characterised.
