Abstract
Synthesis of eight-membered phosphorus-nitrogen heterocycles has been perfo rmed by phosphocyclization of the corresponding diamines using different de rivatives of phosphorous acid. The structures of diazaphosphocanes were sup ported by elemental analysis; H-1, C-13, and P-31 NMR spectroscopy; and x-r ay diffraction analysis.
