Abstract
Studies on synthesis of acrylates and kinetics of esterification process ha ve been reviewed. Modern esterification catalysts - such as heteropolyacids , Lewis acids and ion-exchange resins - have been compared to the typical o ne, i.e. sulfuric acid.
