Weight fraction of U-325 in the main water flows and water bodies accumulat
ed in the Sarcophagus is determined by mass spectrometry. It is shown that
there are at least two water flows with the U-235/U-238 isotopic ratios sub
stantially exceeding those in the "average" fuel at the Fourth Block. The p
ossible mechanism of formation inside the Sarcophagus of fuel agglomeration
s with a lower than average burnup has been proposed.
