Abstract
Gas-phase electron diffraction and quantum chemistry were used to perform a second study of the gas-phase structure of diphenyl ether. It was found th at the molecule is asymmetrical, and the torsion angles about the C-O bonds are 62 degrees and 34(7)degrees.
