Abstract
The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of simultaneous hydrolysis in the Fe3+-M2+-NO3--H2O systems (M = Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn) were determined. The hyd rolysis constants and the activation energies of formation of polynuclear h ydroxo complexes were obtained. The major role in the formation of metal io n hydroxo complexes in the systems was found to be played by hydrolysis of iron(III).
