Abstract
The hydrodynamic and conformational characteristics of ethyl cellulose (EC) macromolecules in nonaqueous solvents were determined by the viscometry, l ight scattering, and spectroturbidimetry methods. Solvent nature effects on equilibrium rigidity of EC chains were studied. The dependence of the stat istical dimensions of polymer macromolecules on solvent permittivity and po larity was established.
