Abstract
The malonate unit is linked to solid supports and multistep syntheses of ma crocycles are then carried out. Various reactions are studied on solid supp orts and this investigation finally reveals that Solid Phase Organic Chemis try (SPOC) is a reliable technology even for long sequences. The cyclizatio ns using malonate anion S-N2 On allylic chlorides lead mostly to polymers a nd indicate that pseudo-high dilution conditions are not found on solid sup port.
