Abstract
A convenient one-step procedure for the synthesis of five novel fluorophore s, consisting of macrocyclic polyamines containing two dansylamidoethyl sid e arms, by the reaction of the appropriate macrocyclic polyamines with N-da nsylaziridine in acetonitrile is reported.
