Abstract
The decomposition of nitrogen oxides NOx in model gas mixtures ionized by m icrosecond pulsed electron beams was studied. The main decomposition mechan ism is the dissociation of oxides caused by the interaction with atomic nit rogen. The final decomposition products are molecular oxygen and nitrogen.
