The presentation of Alzheimer's disease includes cognitive impairment, psyc
hological and behavioral disorders. There are many interactions between the
se different disorders. Several factors contribute to the etiology of psych
ological and behavioral disorders: somatic illnesses, iatrogenic factors, e
nvironmental changes and the family's attitudes. These manifestations are n
ot only the results of brain lesions; they are also the consequences of cog
nitive impairment on affective and psychic life of the patient and his fami
ly. Therapeutic strategies must take each disorder into account. So, therap
