Abstract
A correction to the free interface condition given in P. Szabo and O. Hassenger (Int. J. Numer. Meth. Engng, 38, 717-734 (1995)) is presente d. The corrections to the computations in the paper are found to be wi thin numerical accuracy. (C) 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
