Abstract
The stabilization of the poly(dA). 2poly(dT) triple helix by neomycin is re ported. Preliminary results indicate that neomycin stabilizes DNA triple he lices and the double helical structures composed of poly(dA). poly(dT) are virtually unaffected. This is the first report of thr interaction of aminog lycoside antibiotics with DNA triple helices. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd . All rights reserved.
