Abstract
Synthesis of Z-tribenzo[c,g,k]-1,2,5,6-tetradedydro[12]annulene 1 has been carried out in a good total yield. The Bergman reaction of the closely situ ated acetylene bonds in the endiyne structure of 1 and the reaction of 1 wi th AuCl produced the corresponding cyclization products.
