Abstract
Properties of the excited states of endohedral metallofullerenes (La@C-82 a nd La-2@C-80) have been investigated by time-resolved absorption spectrosco py. Transient absorption bands of La@C-82, showed two decay-components, whi ch were attributed to excited states of different spin multiplicity. The pr operties of photoexcited states of La-2@C-80 are also reported.
