Abstract
Surface reaction of CO with Al2O3-supported metal oxide catalysts was studi ed. Reversible reduction/oxidation was observed for In2O3-Al2O3. Although t he exposure of Ga2O3-Al2O3 to CO caused the formation of CO2, the successiv e reoxidation by O-2 was not observed. This was accounted for by the reacti on of surface hydroxyl groups on Ga2O3-Al2O3 with CO, leading to CO2 and H- 2.
