Abstract
This paper describes the results of three adjustment experiments with the a ll-directional plasma sensor (the VDP instrument) operating aboard the INTE RBALL-1 satellite: reduction of photocurrents in the sensor by reducing ref lection of ultra-violet emission from the collector; determination of the s olar wind velocity by analyzing integral energy spectra of the instrument; determination of incoming angles and a ratio of bulk and thermal velocities by comparison of currents measured by four differently-directed sensors.
