Ni. Sorokinn et al., Growth of single crystals and optimization of anionic transport in La1-xNdxF3 solid solutions with tysonite-type structure by isovalent substitutions, CRYSTALLO R, 45(4), 2000, pp. 695-697
The study of the effect of isomorphous isovalent substitution on the fluori
de-ion conductivity in La1-xNdxF3 solid solutions was aimed at optimizing t
he anionic transport in solid electrolytes with the tysonite-type (LaF3) st
ructure. A series of La1-xNdxF3 single crystals with 0.1 less than or equal
to x less than or equal to 0.9 was grown for the first time by the Bridgma
n-Stockbarger method in the fluorinating atmosphere. The ionic conductivity
was measured at frequencies ranging from 5 to 500 kHz by the method of imp
edance spectroscopy (with the use of graphite contacts). The conductivity i
s maximal at the composition La0.37Nd0.63F3. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperi
