Abstract
Sensory information is acquired in spatial coordinate systems linked to sen se organs, yet movement must be executed in coordinate systems linked to mo tor effector organs. Neurophysiological experiments are yielding new insigh ts into how the brain transforms coordinate systems to facilitate movement.
