Abstract
New geochemical data on Holocene pedorelics in Belarus are presented. Some problems of the soilmantle evolution during the Holocene and the peculiarit ies of the paleosoils, especially buried flood-plain soils of the Nieman, D nieper and Pripyat valleys are discussed.
