Abstract
A voltage-controlled hair-pin resonator oscillator (VCHRO) with series feed back properties is designed for K-band operation using a new tuning mechani sm. The circuit topology has the following advantages over conventional con figurations: (i) low production cost; (ii) compact design because there is no need for a doubler or coupler; and (iii) suitability for MMIC hair-pin r esonator applications.
