Abstract
Thr authors describe a 120 Gbit/s (3 x 30Gbit/s) OTDM system in which the t ransmitter and the receiver are based on electroabsorption modulators opera ting at 30GHz. Error-free operation with an average 120Gbit/s sensitivity o f -22.6dBm is achieved.
